Each week, we slow down and work directly with the biblical text. The goal isn't simply to translate a passage, but to learn to see what is happening in the Hebrew itself.
UNDERSTAND THE LANGUAGE
Explore why the Hebrew says what it says. We examine vocabulary, grammar, syntax, wordplay, and other features that may disappear in translation.
When the text takes us there, we explore ancient versions, textual variants, historical and cultural background, and the Jewish context of Scripture.
Ask questions and participate in the discussion or simply listen and follow along. You're welcome to engage at whatever level is comfortable for you.
